The next meeting will be held on Wednesday 1st November 2023 at Briars Hall Hotel, Lathom, L40 5TH at 7pm for a prompt 7.30pm start.
The speaker is Katherine Liver, who cycled from Australia back to the UK in 2015.
Following a 4500 mile coast to coast challenge in the USA, Katherine embarked on a 16,000 mile, 10 month cycle, crossing 24 countries starting in Melbourne, Australia ending at her home in the UK.

It is with great sadness that we report the death after a short illness of LADS member Robert Frank Henry Harrison of Melling House Farm, Melling.
Robert was a grandson of founding LADS member Henry Harrison.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday 3rd October at Bickerstaffe Church, Church Lane, Bickerstaffe L39 0EB at 10:45 am followed by a short service at West Lancs Crematorium, Pippin St, Ormskirk, L40 7SP and refreshments at Aughton Institute, Bold Lane, Aughton, L39 6SG.

LADS will be organising a bus to LAMMA show on Wednesday 17th January 2024, departing from Taylors Farm, Hall Lane, Ormskirk, L40 5UW at 7am.

Makerfield Ploughing Society are holding a ploughing match on Sunday 10th September 2023, kindly hosted by A & J Shacklady.

LADS visit to the new Southport Lifeboat station 3rd May 2023
A trip has been organised to visit Southport Lifeboats on Wednesday 3rd May at 7pm. Following on from Elaine & Alan speaking this season we have been kindly allowed a visit to the station.

Evolution Farming Limited was formed in 2010, and runs 9 farms covering the length and breadth of England, predominantly dairy farms on a New Zealand based system.
In addition to dairy management Evolution Farming Limited also manage beef, sheep, deer and arable enterprises.
